Creating Defensible Space
Fire Solution Inc's. Slashbuster® equipment is said to do the work of fifteen to twenty men and help significantly reduce the risk of forest fires by creating a defensible space around property and homes.
The Slashbuster® is also environmentally friendly, after the trees are ground up the remains are left to help with decomposition and nutrient recycling in the forest.

Instead of paying to haul out the excess forest fuels, they are reduced to a beneficial mulch that is not conducive to fast-moving fires. When a raging wildfire hits a treated area, the fire typically drops in height and speed. Moving from the forest canopy to the ground, flame lengths are dramatically reduced as the spread rate slows to a crawl. This reduction in fire intensity and speed gives firefighters a space to defend against the fire in an areas that would otherwise be unsafe even for entry.
The machine has several special features which allow it to cover any terrain, and with its rotating shroud can work inches away from houses and other structures without damage from debris.
